Al-Nassr Football Club has officially kicked off its partnership with Adidas by unveiling its new home jersey for the 2024-2025 season. The jersey debut coincided with the Saudi Super Cup showdown against Al-Taawoun last Wednesday, where Al-Nassr secured a 2-0 victory. This launch marks a significant milestone in the club’s new chapter with the German sportswear brand.
Earlier this year, in February, Al-Nassr transitioned from Nike to Adidas, signing a three-year contract that covers all teams and staff, setting the stage for this exciting launch.
The newly revealed kit features Al-Nassr’s traditional yellow, accentuated with blue details, and includes the slogan “Nassr runs in my blood,” embodying the club’s spirit. It also proudly displays the palm tree and crossed-swords emblem, a nod to Saudi Arabian heritage.
Guido Fienga, Al-Nassr’s CEO, expressed the club’s enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the global reach and aspirations of the team: “This new kit not only pays tribute to our club’s rich history but also amplifies Al-Nassr’s presence on the international stage. Partnering with Adidas, and proudly wearing the three stripes, underscores our commitment to excellence and our vision for the future, uniting our fans worldwide.”
Adidas’ Regional General Manager, Bilal Fares, also underscored the importance of this partnership: “We are delighted to partner with Al-Nassr FC, a collaboration that aligns with our shared goals of advancing football in Saudi Arabia. This deal is more than just providing apparel; it’s about empowering a movement and setting a new standard for football in the region.”
The new kits were introduced through a short film that pays homage to the legacy of Al-Nassr and its dedicated supporters, with special recognition given to the “The Golden Trio,” a trio of legendary players. The film features appearances by stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Abdulelah Al-Amri, and Otavio Monteiro, along with women’s team members Aseel Ahmed, Clara Luvanga, and Lina Boussaha. Filmed across various iconic locations in Riyadh, the video also subtly honors Saudi Arabia’s rich footballing history.
This launch signals the start of an exciting era for Al-Nassr, with the new Adidas partnership expected to elevate the club’s global brand and influence, both on and off the pitch.
