The Hamdan Heritage Museum, established in 1434 AH, is a significant cultural institution in Riyadh. It was founded through the personal efforts of Eng. Khaled bin Nasser Al-Hamdan. Initially starting from a small room, the museum has grown into an independent establishment, separate from any other location or residence. It stands as one of Riyadh’s major and first independent museums, managed by Eng. Khaled Al-Hamdan in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Museum Authority.
What sets the Hamdan Heritage Museum apart is its dedication to preserving and showcasing the heritage of Najd, all within a structure built in the traditional Najdi architectural style. The museum features approximately 12 halls displaying various artifacts and historical items, including a Weapons Hall, a Photographs Hall, a Household Utensils Hall, a Manuscripts Hall, a Bedroom Hall, and a Hall of Islamic Coins, which is one of the largest in private museums. There is also the Najdi Council Hall, a garage with two antique cars, and Caesarea Al-Hamdan, which includes traditional shops, a Nescafe store, a library, and a VIP council for distinguished guests.
It is open daily from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM
