The Riyadh store is not only JD’s first venture in the region but also its largest in the Middle East, spanning an impressive 9,000 square feet. Shoppers will be treated to the latest collections from top brands like Adidas, Nike, Puma, Asics, and New Balance, making it a destination for sportswear enthusiasts and street style lovers alike.
But this is no ordinary store opening. JD Sports has planned a series of thrilling activities to celebrate its arrival in Riyadh. Throughout the opening week, visitors can look forward to live DJ performances in-store, exclusive gifts with every purchase, and even customization options for their new gear.
The festivities kick off with a bang, featuring a special appearance by Saudi-based rapper Lil Eazy, accompanied by DJ Shancoty, in a Nike-powered event. Friday brings a unique experience for the first 100 shoppers: a walk-in magazine cover photo booth where guests can get their photos taken and receive a limited-edition magazine with their personalized cover, courtesy of Adidas.
For sports fans, Saturday will be a day to remember. Al Hilal’s star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will be making an appearance for a meet-and-greet session from 5pm to 7pm.
