ar- العربية Karim Abdel Aziz will perform in the play “Sinbad” at the New Alamein Festival, following its success at the Riyadh Season. This event is part of a collaboration between the Entertainment Authority and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, featuring plays and concerts by top Arab artists.
“Sinbad” marks Abdel Aziz’s return to theater since 2001. The play follows Omar the Sphinx, who finds a magic necklace that transports him to Sinbad’s time, where he lives out adventures. The cast includes Nelly Karim, Bayoumi Fouad, Mustafa Khater, and Shaima Seif, with Ahmed El Gendy directing.
Abdel Aziz also starred in the TV series “The Assassins” during Ramadan 2024, about the historical figure Hassan al-Sabah. Additionally, he made a guest appearance in the film “Welad Rizk 3”, currently competing in the Eid al-Adha season, featuring Ahmed Ezz and a notable ensemble cast.
