Riyadh’s highly anticipated event calendar is centered around the monumental Riyadh Season, which is set to return this year in October. The exact date has just been announced, with the festival kicking off on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Turki Alalshikh confirmed the date in a tweet on Tuesday, August 6, and revealed that the opening event will feature a fight between Bivol and Beterbiev on the first day, followed by the Fury vs. Usyk rematch on December 21.
Riyadh Season is one of the world’s largest winter entertainment events, offering a spectacular variety of international cuisine from exclusive restaurants, along with countless exciting surprises. This year, we anticipate the return of popular venues like Boulevard World, BLVD Runaway, Suwaidi Park, Souq Alawalen, and more.
The festival is a celebration of Saudi Arabia’s essence, blending its rich Najdi heritage with the country’s modern dynamism. Although the official theme and identity of the festival have yet to be revealed, you can stay updated with the latest news on Saudiarabia.com.
Additionally, Riyadh Season will feature the 6 King Slam tennis tournament, showcasing six of the world’s top male players, including the current number one, Novak Djokovic, and 22-time Grand Slam champion, Rafa Nadal.
Anthony Joshua has been announced back in June to be the official ambassador of Riyadh Season.
