This year’s festival, set to take place on Friday, September 13th, will bring international techno star Dubfire to the stage alongside local Saudi talents. Desert Sound’s latest edition is happening at the iconic Diriyah Biennale Hall, a new venue for the festival that has previously taken place at Saudi Media City near Boulevard City. The event will run from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m., promising a night packed with music and energy. This time around, Desert Sound is offering two ticket options: regular and VIP, starting at SAR 300, with early bird tickets available for SAR 250 on Ticketing Box Office’s website.
The festival will showcase a thrilling lineup, headlined by Grammy-winning DJ and producer Dubfire, known for his signature blend of minimal house and techno. Dubfire’s career spans over two decades, during which he has performed at some of the world’s biggest music events, including in Ibiza, Berlin, and London. His Riyadh set is sure to feature dark, edgy rhythms mixed with funky undertones, along with his HYBRID audiovisual live show.
Supporting Dubfire is a host of local talent, including Majid, Mishal, Basha, and HAFFS, each bringing their unique sound to the night. Desert Sound, an entertainment company born in Saudi Arabia, continues to elevate the electronic music scene in the region by hosting exciting events and showcasing both regional and international artists. The company has previously hosted popular gigs such as Techno Therapy at JAX District and even brought the party to the Red Sea city during the F1 concert in March 2024.
